4-star beachfront resort on Koh Chang's private Bai Lan Bay
Beach & Pools
Mercure Koh Chang Hideaway offers a private beach area exclusively for hotel guests, with sun umbrellas and outdoor furniture. The property has two outdoor swimming pools: one by the beach and a 60-metre-long pool in front of select swim-up rooms, complete with a pool bar. Sun loungers and bean bags are available on the beach, and the pool area includes a hot tub and sun umbrellas.
Spa & Wellness
The Hideaway Spa offers a wide range of unique treatments and wellness services, including body massages, foot baths, and full-body massages, plus a sauna and steam room. Guests have access to a fitness centre with locker rooms, and spa/wellness packages are available for booking. The spa also provides couples massage and open-air bath options, with a relaxation lounge on site.
Dining
The Bay Restaurant serves both Thai and international cuisines with unrivalled views of the sea and pool, and offers special diet menus upon request. There is a coffee house on site-a Starbucks outlet located right on the beachfront-and two bars, including a beach bar and a pool bar. Happy hour runs daily from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and guests can order wine, champagne, and fresh fruits.
Rooms
All 145 rooms come with a flat-screen TV, minibar, and tea/coffee making facilities, with en suite bathrooms offering either hot-water showers or a bathtub. Some room types feature a private balcony, and the property includes pool villas with private plunge pools and secluded outdoor areas. Accommodation blocks are spread across the resort, with ground-floor apartments and swim-up rooms available.
Leisure
The hotel operates a kids' club and provides a children's menu at the restaurant, along with babysitting services and an indoor play area. Recreational activities on site include cooking classes, billiards, karaoke, and water sport facilities, while live fire shows are held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings.
